Thank You Shelton! Your voice was heard and every vote counts!

After a rare tie vote and a special election held with just two weeks notice, the people of Shelton once again proved how deeply they care about this community. When faced with an unusual and challenging moment in our local democracy, you showed up. You made your voices heard. You reminded everyone watching that Shelton is a place where people take pride in their city and believe in the power of their vote. I am truly humbled by that support and by the trust you continue to place in me.

I also want to take a moment to recognize Chris Balamaci for her nearly two decades of dedicated service to the people of Shelton and for her honorable military service. Our city is stronger because of public servants like her, people who step up, give their time, lead with integrity, and put the community first. I have tremendous respect for her commitment and the impact she has made over the years.

I am incredibly proud of our team for meeting this entire challenge with respect, patience, and integrity. Through uncertainty, long days, tough conversations, and back to back elections, they stayed focused on what matters most, the people of Shelton. They represented our values with grace and never lost sight of the bigger picture.

Now, we move forward together. This is bigger than any political party. It is bigger than a single race or a single moment. What matters now is working side by side as neighbors, investing in our future, and doing what is right for our community. We are united in our love for this city and the important work ahead, and I am ready to take that next step with all of you.
